I still remember the days when I would make "my girl" up in the morning and she would say, "what's for dessert today?" It wasn't "good morning," it was what kind of sweets do I get today Mom? I can honestly say this "sweet, sweet" girl has blessed my life every single day! So far we have done 2 different photo shoots and we are planning a 3rd. I guess I keep hoping that as long as we keep taking Senior pictures, then that means this phase will not end. I know we've taught and loved her well, but I'm just not ready to see her "fly away!" I guess this is where we have to trust God's plan and know that he has wonderful things in store for our precious ones!

Where, oh, where has the time gone! Today my first born turns 21. I love you with all my heart "Sama-Sama!" I am so proud of the man you are becoming and I'm so glad I was chosen to be your MOM!

Today has been a day of reminiscing. 2019 will definitely be a year of many "new" experiences....my oldest is in his own apartment, completely supporting himself and making "a go" at being an entrepreneur. My daughter will be heading off to college. And, my youngest will start high school. I'm really missing the days when we were all under "one roof" and family dinners were a common occurrence! I find this season of life to be wonderful and hard at the same time!

My friend Wendy called me and asked if I would take some pictures of her with her husband Mike and their "fur" babies and with her brother and his new wife. She said it had been a while since she and her brother had photos made for their Mom and they wanted to "gift" her some for the holidays. I don't know of a single mother that wouldn't love to receive that kind of gift. I think sometimes as I get older, I forget that I'm still my parents "little girl." This is one of those gifts that I would consider "priceless!" As I get older I look back at my children's artwork, school photos and handmade gifts and I wouldn't trade those for anything. When it comes down to it, I think it's those things that "capture" a moment in time that truly have meaning. I hope 2019 is full of wonderful "captured" moments for you and your families!
