✨ It’s been a while… ✨

This year brought some big life changes for our family! My husband made the amazing decision to go back to school to pursue his passion, and I returned to the field of education—something I’ve always dreamed of doing. That means I’m now working full-time during the school year, but I’m SO excited to say I’m gearing up for a full summer of sessions and weddings! 📸

Because of my full-time schedule, I’m taking on fewer sessions during the school year—but I am still booking on a limited basis.

🌞 Now for the fun part: SUMMER MINIS ARE HERE! 🌞

This year, I’m offering two beautiful mini session options:

🏖 Beach Minis on the breathtaking shores of Lake Superior – BOOKING NOW!

🌸 Flower Farm Minis – coming in late July at a gorgeous new local location (stay tuned!)

Recently I’ve started to understand what older adults used to tell kids when they were young… “don’t grow up too fast” or “it’s the small things in life” and particularly, one I have been saying in my own head “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”

I think as kids we all rolled our eyes and said “Yeah, I know” or maybe just the casual eye roll was the answer instead. But as I approach my 30s I have truly started to implement that in my life as well as my photography.

When I go for a walk, I find myself a bouquet of wildflowers on the side of the road, as I walk the sandy beaches or a dirt road I find beautiful agates and other gemstones, I recently have a passion for creating beauty in flowers and the pride in growing my own food.

•
I realize that these are the things that keep us going even when everything else is falling apart around us. These are the things that give us joy and see the beauty and the positivity in the world and encourage us to not give up and to keep going.

Hi friends👋🏻🤣 remember me? Yea well I’m still here even though I ghosted you for months! I needed some time away from the social media and work for a while to heal some burnout and to figure out some mental health issues. I’m happy to say I’m doing better than ever and my spark is back as well. Kicking my return off with this adorable family and their gorgeous new little man. 😍 He was hours old and did not want to miss a thing 😉
