What my lunch breaks look like now. 🌲 🌲 🥾 this is my favorite trail - it winds around and around all the way up the hill and is lined with huge pines and has great views of Lake Superior. We call it the cupcake trail. Morgan named it when she was about four because it goes around and around like frosting on a cupcake. I have no idea what the real name of the trail is, but the cupcake trail sounds nice and it stuck. 🧁

I had this brilliant idea for a Saint Patrick's Day photo session all planned out -----things do not always go as planned. First it snowed a great deal and nothing looked even remotely close to Ireland and then it was soooo cold that my kiddos were just not into it - even with the promise of hot cocoa afterwards.
