Before we headed to the lake it started pouring and we had the choice to either pack it up or embrace Mother Nature and have fun with it !!

We ditched the umbrellas ✌🏻

Obsessed. Thankful for my couples that go with the flow, trust and ultimately are just always up for a good time! Emma and Cam — you can’t take a bad photo!! Sunshine, clouds, wind, rain look good on ya!

These two take their white bug convertible up the north shore often in the summer and when they asked if they could include that into their engagement session it was an immediate yes for me 🤍

A blizzard in Duluth had us this close to rescheduling…

but this sweet fam showed up anyway and it couldn’t have been a more perfect evening 🤍

One baby in their arms, another on the way…
right in that fleeting, in-between season you can’t get back.

SO glad we didn’t miss this one.

(I literally showed up to Brighton Beach 45 minutes early thinking there was no chance the road would even be plowed 🙈).

Unpopular opinion — winter might secretly be the best season for engagement photos in Duluth 🤍

Quiet downtown streets, cozy layers, and that soft blue hour glow along Lake Superior make everything feel a little more intimate. We wandered from the Kitchi Gammi Club past Va Bene and Fitger’s before ending lakeside as the sky turned that dreamy North Shore blue….as always, Duluth showed off! & Hayley + Alex absolutely nailed every part of their session 🫶🏻 (including these outfits…already asked Hayley to be hired as my outfit coordinator from here on out!)

Counting down the days I get to photograph them again this fall when they say “I do” at Pier B Resort 🤍
