800+ bananas took to the streets of Lincoln Park, Duluth, MN yesterday during the 2nd Annual Going Bananas Run created by Andrew Weisz and coordinated by the NorthShore Inline Marathon volunteers and staff.

A family fun event on a 2 mile course in provided banana suits. What did the banana do when it saw a gorilla? It split! Do you recognize the gorillas?

The 2nd Annual Going Bananas Run took place yesterday in Lincoln Park, Duluth, MN.

800+ runners in banana suits took over the streets on a beautiful sunny day.

American White Pelicans stop by Jay Cooke State Park every year as they migrate north.

Lakes are still mostly frozen north of Duluth but are opening up fast.

Numbers were significantly low in previous decades we never saw them migrate growing up near the park. Now they are stronger than ever.
