ππ¦ A WALK TO REMEMBER QUEEN π¦π
On October 29th, my Queen would be 33 years old. π
For me, this walk has never just been about the steps. I walk because she was here. I walk because she mattered. I walk because she had dreams. And I walk because I promised myself that as long as I have breath, I will continue to say her name and keep her legacy alive.
Quin-Chay βQueenβ Yvonne Johnson was my daughter, but she was also a sister, niece, granddaughter, honor student, ROTC member, and a HOLY GHOST-filled child of God. She had dreams of joining the U.S. Air Force and so much life ahead of her.
Although Queen didn't get the opportunity to fulfill all of those dreams, her name is now helping another young person pursue theirs through the Queen Johnson Scholarship at RockStone Church. π
So for what would be her 33rd birthday, I'm asking you to celebrate her life with me.
π WALK 33 MINUTES β with me, at the Atlanta BeltLine, Stone Mountain Park, or wherever you are.
π GIVE $33 OR WHATEVER GOD PLACES ON YOUR HEART β to support the Queen Johnson Scholarship.
Cash App: $RockStoneChurch
Memo: Queen Johnson Scholarship
π² SHARE THIS POST β because even if you can't walk or give, sharing Queen's story helps keep her name and legacy moving.
33 minutes. $33. One share.
Do one. Do two. Do all three. π
I still miss my baby. I will always miss my baby. But A Walk to Remember Queen is about more than how her life ended. It's about celebrating how she LIVED and allowing that life to continue touching somebody else's.
Happy 33rd Birthday, Queen. Mommy is still walking. πππ¦
Will you walk with me?
