One of the most moving memorials in Budapest, Hungary. The Show Memorial along the Danube River. A long row of bronze shoes. During WWII, the Jews were told to take off their shoes before they were executed by the N***s. Shoes were valuable and scarce. Moving memorial to a horrible history. Strabo Photo Tour Collection

Arrived in Sarajevo, Bosnia, today to explore the area and return to places where my son was stationed here in the 1990s. This photo is of the city hall area and river but Photoshop did some strange things. Stay tuned for more as the journey continues. Maybe the pixels will align better tomorrow. 😀

Storm Clouds with False Funnel.

A couple days ago we had a tiny thunderstorm roll across Ellison Bay and when I saw on radar that it was coming right at my house I put my drone up to take a look. I was first fascinated by the rain bands on the horizon as I panned my drone right and left but then I saw this funnel like cloud and of course concentrated on that. I watched it as the storm slowly came toward me and within a few minutes it faded away. I never saw any rotation so I think it was just a very interesting cloud shape. I was wondering if it would form a waterspout since it was still well out over the bay but that was not to be. We do live in a cool place! Please enjoy this in full screen mode and share if you wish.
