If you’re lucky, some friendships become family 💛

I’ve been holding onto these photos for a while, waiting for the right moment to share them. And I couldn’t think of a more perfect day than the birthday of the mama at the center of this beautiful tribe!

We’ve been choosing each other since third grade. Yes, THIRD grade. Through scraped knees, first heartbreaks, cheerleading competitions, weddings, babies, businesses, grief, joy, and all the ordinary Tuesdays in between, you’ve been there.

These photos feel like everything I love about you wrapped into one photo gallery. Your gentle heart, your beautiful children, your strength, your softness, and the way you make the people around you feel so safe and loved.

Somewhere along the way, we went from two awkward little girls (wearing way too much eyeliner) navigating life together to raising babies side by side, and I’ll never stop being grateful for that.

Kendall and Brady are two of the very best parts of you. Your heart, your humor, your kindness, your strength. Watching you love them has made me love you even more 🫶🏻 Thank you for letting me be part of their story and yours.

You’re also the best business partner I could have EVER dreamed up. Building a life and a business alongside someone who knows my heart as well as you do is a gift I never take for granted.

There are very few people in this world who get to experience a friendship like ours, and after 24 years, I still find myself grateful for it every single day.

Thirty three looks beautiful on you!!

Happy birthday, Meggs 🤟🏼 Thank you for weathering every storm, climbing every mountain, and soaking in every sunset right beside me. I can’t imagine this life without you, and at the end of the day, I know I’m the lucky one.

Spring quite literally SPRUNG. I was still enjoying a slow little winter season when all of a sudden busy season snuck right up on me. Grateful, of course! So so so many special sessions in the studio this spring - I still have so much to share 🫶🏻

One thing I’ve noticed while photographing all of these motherhood sessions lately… Babies don’t care about perfect poses. They care about being close to their mama.

The snuggles, the comfort, the familiar voice, the safe place to land. And honestly, I think that’s what makes these sessions feel so special to me // they’re less about perfection and more about connection.

Another day - another absolutely precious motherhood session // this time it’s the winner from my giveaway! Sarina and her most darling girlies. We spent our time together smelling the flowers, sharing giggles and spinning around in circles (because it’s recital season, iykyk).
— just truly feels so special that I was able to document all of these mamas during this season of motherhood 🤟🏼

Working hard to get all of these precious motherhood moments edited and back into the hands of so many beautiful mamas before the holiday weekend 🤍 (The first chunk of sessions will go out tonight, and the remaining will follow in the next couple of days!)

As I move through these galleries, I find myself pulled into so many emotions. Memories of the past and even little glimpses of the future.

This past Friday at we hosted a group psychic reading, and hearing even the tiniest snippets about my children… my mama heart absolutely swelled. What a special evening filled with connection and intuition. A great big thank you to all of those that joined us!

It’s so easy to get stuck in the day to day. The exhaustion, the early mornings, the constant needs. We all too often forget that we have a whole lifetime ahead with these tiny little (very exhausting) blessings.

Speaking of… this mama was graced with a 4:27am wake up call from her 2.5 year olds bedroom today 🫠

So I’ll leave you with these sweet moments of Hayley and her boy while I work on my second cup of coffee (and it’s barely 7am).

But MAMAS tell me — how are we handling early wake ups these days?! Especially toddlers who are very much ready to start their day 😅
