When we got to Tallahassee twelve years ago, we never imagined life would look like it does today. What started as a life pivot with two of us and a camera in Tallahassee has taken us to cities all across the country, from the Florida Capitol to the US Capitol and the White House, and into rooms with some of the most recognizable brands in the world. Through all of it, the heart of why we do what we do has not changed. No matter who we are photographing, every session starts with “so, tell me about yourself,” and we get to learn people’s stories and often call them friends. 

There have been a few pinch-me moments we still cannot quite believe: the first time we spotted our work on a movie poster on Apple TV, the time we saw our work on the cover of a national magazine at a newsstand in New York City and then again in Los Angeles, and a morning spent with Warren Buffett, which happened a year ago this week. 

We love catching moments that show off someone’s personality, and this was one of our favorites 📸

A few months ago, we photographed a feature on .club and walked in to meet . We had no idea how much fun we were about to have (and how much mopping would need to be done afterwards), but the best part of our job is making friends in different spaces and watching them succeed. If you’re in DC, do yourself a favor. Go grab a drink and some tallow fries at Butterworths and say hi to our friend Bart 🥂📸
