Alexis and Nick, WOW. You two have truly left a mark on me. Your wedding day embodied what it means to live boldly in your faith and love your family and friends fiercely.

You’ve been together for what feels like a lifetime, yet you still have so much life ahead of you, and how beautiful that you now get to spend it as husband and wife!! I’ll never forget how giddy you were, Alexis, anytime you were around Nick, or the way you, Nick, looked at Alexis with such adoration.

Your people loved you both so well, and it was such an honor to witness it all.

Honestly, I just can’t wait to be back in Charleston. Forever daydreaming of these cobblestone roads, southern hospitality, and (quite literally) some of the best food I’ve ever eaten!

Between bottles and nap time, I’ve quietly been prepping for weeks for my upcoming spring events. Timelines, calls with some of my favorite planners, vision mapping details and logistics, gear lists, film prep… all of the behind the scenes pieces that slowly bring a wedding season to life.

The ramp up has me feeling incredibly excited for what’s ahead. I’m deeply grateful for the couples and vendor teams I get to create alongside this year.

A joyful backyard celebration in Belle Meade for Patrick & Katherine after they eloped in Costa Rica earlier this year! What an honor to be invited back into their lives — to capture their love, to laugh with them, and celebrate them (which is so easy to do)!!

These cool kids (on the block) actually connected twice! Shortly after Colleen moved to Nashville, she and Bruce matched on a dating app and talked for a few weeks but never made plans to meet up. Almost a year later, they matched again but on a different dating app! Almost like fate was saying, “wait there is something here!”.

I loved capturing them in their East Nashville neighborhood and I can’t wait to see them get hitched this summer!
