When I choose a photographer for myself and my children, a beautiful picture alone is never enough for me.
A beautiful picture reflects skill in shooting and editing. But a powerful photograph—that’s always about the meaning behind the image. And for me, that meaning is so important that it takes absolute priority.

Once, I received 600 photos from a family shoot. To this day, I haven’t gone through the entire gallery with full attention to each shot. What’s the point of 20 similar photos taken in the same spot? A story can be told through one, single, powerful, meaningful image. Why have 10 posed photos where everyone stands beautifully dressed and smiling?
What story does such a simple collection tell?
Just a factual record of how everyone looks right now and what they’re wearing?
Seriously?
Who finds that meaningful?

With the rise of AI, the value of a “beautiful picture” has become irrelevant—even if you don’t want to admit it.
AI can now create realistic and absolutely stunning visuals, even videos. Your story and the meaning behind each photo are now the only things that matter. I’m the kind of photographer who loves capturing moments at home.

I adore decorating my house for Christmas and writing letters to Santa with my kids. I love our cozy evenings playing chess or dominoes, and making hot cocoa together. The priceless moments when grandma teaches the kids how to bake cookies, and they bake them together for our evening cocoa, are truly unforgettable.

Have you ever made a list of qualities that are absolutely critical for you in a partner?

For example, for me, it’s important that a person isn’t stingy, that their words align with their actions, that they show respect toward their parents, that they’re willing to change habits that harm them or hold them back, that they’re educated and continuously learning, that they know how to care for and spoil their kids and their woman… and so much more.

When I finished creating my list, I finally understood why I had been so uncomfortable in my marriage in its later years.
And it also became clear why I don’t pay attention to the advances of many men around me. One red flag from my list is enough for me to cross someone off as a candidate entirely.

I get that some flaws can be compensated for by incredible strengths in other areas... BUT... I’ve decided not to compromise on my happiness anymore.

Interestingly, friendship with men has started to come back into my life. And I couldn’t be happier about it. I’ve really missed that here in the U.S. And yes, I do believe in friendships between men and women. In fact, I even find them more reliable than friendships between women. What about you?

You know how much I love stories, right? 😊

Here’s one, for example: this family had a baby shower with a pilot theme. The eldest daughter was the “captain,” and the newborn baby was eagerly awaited as the “co-pilot.”

During the maternity shoot, we didn’t have a chance to incorporate airplanes into the photos. But when it came time for the newborn session, we brought them in.

The result? A fantastic story with a subtle aviation theme. No unnecessary details, and the theme is perfectly balanced.

What’s the Best Outfit for a Photoshoot?

The best outfit is the one you don’t remember after viewing your photos! 😊

Why? Because the focus should always be on the faces, emotions, and moments—not the clothes. Your outfit should complement, not distract, from the story being told in the frame.

If you’re unsure, follow these basic tips:

1️⃣ Avoid bold prints and large logos. They draw attention away from what really matters—you!
2️⃣ Stick to neutral or muted colors. Bright colors can cast unwanted reflections on skin tones.
3️⃣ Choose comfortable, non-restrictive clothing. Tight or stiff outfits can limit your movement and affect how relaxed you feel during the session.
4️⃣ Don’t forget the shoes! Footwear plays a bigger role than you might think—plan for comfort and style.

Yes, I’m a true thief of moments! And there’s an indescribable thrill I feel when I manage to steal a moment from Time—a moment that now belongs to me and my heroes forever.

NOW! No one can ever take it away from us.

That moment speaks with a child’s voice, smells like a freshly opened storybook at bedtime, and feels warm like a sunbeam in a child’s room.
It’s like a time machine—always bringing you back, even on a physical level, to a specific time, to the emotions, the sensations you felt.
