Chris D'Amore Photography Chris D’Amore is a freelance photographer based in Dover, NH It was my first introduction to medium format film.

10 years ago, my grandparents handed down to me an old camera they bought just around the time my father was born - an Agfa Isolette V. After years of use and a few more years in the attic, the tattered body had still managed to preserve the accordion style mechanism and intricate lens mechanisms within. I found myself setting aside the DSLR in favor of embracing the quirks of film, fighting again

st light leaks, and I took the opportunity to reinvent my approach to photographs entirely. Many cameras and many years later, medium format and 35mm have become the main media with which I've learned to document life. It has been a never-ending experiment since the beginning and a constant thrill to pursue what I consider to be my version of experiencing the present.
