Dear friends of the Aura Awards 2025 :-)
We hope this post finds you well and inspired! We are excited to remind you that there are only 48 hours left to participate in the AURA AWARDS for the month of May in the second round of the contest. This is your final opportunity to submit your stunning and unique images and have them judged in this round.

At AURA AWARDS, we strive to celebrate the best in family photography while maintaining a high standard of excellence in our judging process. Our goal is to ensure that every image we award meets the level of quality and artistic value that defines the AURA AWARDS.

Why Can a Submission Be Rejected?

During the judging process, an image may be rejected if it does not meet certain technical or artistic standards, including:

❌ Poor Image Quality – Heavy noise, lack of sharpness, or visible compression artifacts.
❌ Incorrect Cropping – Composition that cuts off essential parts of the subject or scene in an unintentional way.
❌ Exposure Issues – Overexposed or underexposed images that lack detail in highlights or shadows.
❌ Weak or Unbalanced Lighting – Poor use of light that does not enhance the subject or causes distracting shadows.
❌ Ineffective Posing – Unnatural or awkward posing that does not showcase the subject well.
❌ Unpolished Scene or Background – Cluttered or distracting backgrounds that take away from the focus of the image.
❌ Image Outside the Contest Scope – Photos that do not fit within the categories of family, newborn, maternity, or children photography.
❌ Excessive Digital Manipulation – Overuse of AI-generated elements, artificial-looking edits, or compositing that no longer represents true photography.
❌ Duplicate Submissions – Resubmitting the same image that has already been judged.

What Happens if Your Submission Is Rejected?

✔️ You won’t lose your credit! If an image is rejected, the credit used for that submission will be automatically refunded back to your account.
✔️ You can submit another image! Your refunded credit can be used to upload a new photo that better fits the competition guidelines.
✔️ You are always welcome to try again! A rejection does not mean your work isn’t valuable—it simply means another image might be a better fit for the contest.
