I am a photographer and there are times that I find great photo opportunities, but don’t/can’t have my camera (i.e. at work, while in the car, etc). But it never stops me from snapping a pic with my phone. I then asked myself, I said “self, why do you never post any phone photos?” After we had an intense discussion, I remembered that photographers are artists. And while some artists believe in self perfectionism there are some who do not. Picasso once said "Unless your painting goes wrong it will be no good". And Bob Ross always made “happy little accidents” and he said “Being completely satisfied with a painting means you have nowhere left to go.” There are plenty of times I’m not completely satisfied, but I still have plenty of places to go! Just because I don’t think my photo is “perfect”, someone else may look at it from a different perspective and see a masterpiece. All this being said, I’m going to start an album I’m calling “Content Over Quality”. If I think it’s good enough to take the time and get a photo with my phone, then it’s good enough to share for everyone to enjoy. Keep an eye out. Pictures to follow! 📷 📸
