On February 17th, my best friend Erin and our head bar-b-cutie, had a major stroke in the middle of the night, stemming from complications due to her giant-cell myocarditis – a rare heart condition that Erin was diagnosed with when she was 14. Since her stroke, Erin has made great strides towards recovery but she still has a long road ahead filled with more extensive surgeries and rehab. We are hosting this event to bring awareness to Erin’s heart condition and raise proceeds to help take care of the cost of her bills and finances while she rehabilitates and recovers.

Come help us show some L🫀V E for our head bar-b-cutie Erin on Sunday, April 21st. We will be hosting BINGO with $600 value in combined prizes – all donated by local businesses, and a Co****le tournament ($ prizes for top 2 teams). **More information and sign up link coming soon. We will also have a variety of local vendors, a DJ, bbq plates, 50/50 raffle, and merchandise. Proceeds will go towards supporting Erin. Family friendly event! All revenue generated will be fully allocated to Erin, and all vendors will also be donating proceeds towards supporting Erin.

This year has been full of new heights, unforgettable experiences, quite a bit of impostor syndrome, and above all else— the growth that comes from learning something new. As I reflect on the endless possibilities of what adventures (and obstacles) await me, I’ll always remember that growth is inevitable.
