Happy Tears!

I built the Loening Amphibian when I was 16 years old; and after competing and winning many contests, I donated the airplane to the Pensacola Historical Aviation Naval Museum in 1968.
Over the years, I assumed the plane was in storage or pushed aside by many others; however, I have tears of happiness to recently see my award winning Loening OL-8 Amphibian still sitting on display at the Pensacola Historical Aviation Naval Museum.

My Loening Amphibian won 8 - first places (never placed second) with only one test flight.
Competitions:
The Dallas Nationals
(I beat the space ship designer Burt Rutan),
South Western in Dallas,
Pensacola Nationals,
Miami Internationals, and Olathe Kansas Nationals.

This has been such a blessing to me to see her after all these years.

Jaylon flew George Meyer’s Little Toot to several airports in North Texas this afternoon and had several photo sessions only to get back and spent Two hours of wash and wax to keep this 68 year old Proto type Original still beautiful! Several young pilots wish they could be doing what Jaylon is doing with Tommy Meyer designer and builder of Big Toot ! Thank you Jaylon for showing of my Dad’s Original Littletoot!

This is MeyerAircrafts new Little Toot being built to Honor ARLO Schroeder famous Hawk Pshaw! Just finished the Little Toot racing Cowling!!!! This Toot will open the door to more EAA home builts of later years. The older Generation of EAA is slowly slipping away! I am so proud the Poberezny handed down my late fathers EAA number of 64 to me!

Installing a much needed panel in the tail section of Littletoot called Hawk Pshaw! Panel was designed to access tailwheel springs! Makes maintenance easier!
