When I picked up my first camera 10 years ago, my only goal was to capture special moments for people and create something that I was proud of. I held on to that same goal when I took the plunge and launched Wildflower Photography. I have put my entire heart and soul into this small business of mine and it has loved me right back. Wildflower Photography became everything I wanted it to be - it allowed me to capture special moments, connect, and led me to some of my greatest friendships. Somewhere along the way though, I became too consumed with “getting it right”, having the perfect social media feed and marketing strategies. Life happened, anxiety crept in, and sharing Wildflower took a timeout this spring as we closed out everything that was already on the books.

At the end of the day, Wildflower Photography is more than just a business to me. Wildflower is an extension of who I am and what I love the most. I've always wanted to connect and capture life’s most special moments for people. That being said, forget being perfect, forget “getting it right” - this season is about honoring what I feel proud of, perfect caption or not. Being behind the camera is home to me, and hope you all enjoy this next phase of Wildflower Photography. I’m so excited to share it with you all!

Moss Rock Preserve: Stephanie + David |

I met Stephanie in the 6th grade and we were instant best friends, Science Olympiad iykyk. When 7th grade + a new school rolled around, we met David and became instant best friends too. I mean it when I say that I’ve LITERALLY grown up with these two, so when they asked me to shoot some anniversary photos, I was over the moon. I’ve so loved watching two of my very best friends in all walks of life - high school to college to the wedding to moving out to CA to moving back to AL, it has been a joy to see it all. I love you both 💛

What an amazing year 2021 was for Wildflower! We’ve grown quite a bit with some new friends, so I wanted to reintroduce myself to kick off the new year:

My name is Molly, the photographer and owner of Wildflower Photo. I started my photography journey almost ten years ago as the resident sports photographer and hype girl for my high school yearbook. I decided to follow my passion and launch Wildflower while I was in college. I started small with a few senior portraits here and there, and seemingly overnight those few senior portraits turned into full blown bookings for weddings, engagements, you name it! My favorite thing about this small business are the lifelong friendships I’ve developed along the way. No one is just a client or a date in the book, everyone I have the privilege to photograph holds a special place in my life. I can’t thank everyone enough for trusting me to capture life’s special moments. Here’s to 2022 and capturing all of the special moments yet to come!

Fortenberry Family 2021 |

These pictures mean more to me than I can put into words. When I was in college I worked at a local daycare in the toddler room. I had the privilege of watching sweet Nick grow up for the short time I kept him in my room. Getting the opportunity to photograph a family session for the Fortenberry’s so many years later was the sweetest thing that 2021 brought me 💛

Posting this set a day early because I just. couldn’t. wait!! This shoot turned into the holiday session of my dreams. I really think I told Madeline how obsessed with them I was at least a million times - Buddy included. Next stop: wedding!
