Did you know: birth photography isn’t all crotch shots & b***y pictures!!

Yes you heard that right!! Birth photography is SO much more than that!! It’s the peaceful determination in your eyes as you work through each contraction, the love in a back rub in between contractions, the elation to finally know if you have a son or daughter, the relief on your face when you hear the sound of their first cries.

When you book with me, I always schedule a face to face meeting with you where we discuss the shots you do want and the shots you definitely do NOT want! I want to get to know you on a personal level before I enter your birth space!

We go over what you want out of your birth photos and the emotion you want to feel when looking back through the photos later in life!

Your birth experience is just that: YOURS. I will never take or post pictures that you aren’t 100% comfortable with!!

This is my passion and I always feel honored to be welcomed into your sacred birth space!!

There’s lots of new followers here so I thought I’d introduce you to the face behind the camera!

Who I am: I’m Kolby! I’m 23 years old, married to the sweetest man alive, and have the most adorable 4 month old baby boy! I love cooking and baking from scratch, have 11 chickens, 2 cows, a sourdough starter named Big Bertha, and am on my way to creating my very own little homestead! I ✨almost✨ finished nursing school but started learning all things holistic and decided that this was the lifestyle for me! So, now I’m a crunchy girlie who believes in home-birth, homeschooling, doula support, eating nothing but what we grow from our own home, and holistic medicine!

What I do: I’m a maternity, birth, and newborn photographer in the Dothan area! I love all things birth and baby! I originally wanted to be an L&D nurse but quickly came to the realization that while I love birth and babies, I love the holistic side of it more! So here I am! A crunchy Mama and local birth photographer!!
