I was in elementary school at Gibraltar when the auditorium was built and have been lucky enough to watch countless performances grace the stage. The other week The Cramer Exchange officially welcomed guests as the Door Community Auditorium announced their 35th season ✨
Congratulations to everyone involved. I am continuously grateful for the arts community in Door County, we are so lucky!

Shooting for was my first real account when I pivoted to photography the summer 2023.
Wandering around the town I grew up in and taking pictures is still one of my favorite days at work.
A lot has changed but so much is the same.
During my childhood the sidewalks were lined with marigolds and every dollar I earned babysitting I put right back into the economy via hot dogs + curly fries at Diggers, candy at the Confectionery, Vagabond Import and Not Licked Yet. Part of my adolescence still sits quietly on a shelf in the FC library between the pages of the 56 volumes of Nancy Drew.
Summers were spent jumping off of the Quo Vadis, riding bikes until dusk, camping in Peninsula, scrambler and bumper boat rides at Thumb Fun and the only place to be on a Friday night was the drive in.
The house we partied at in high school still crowns the top of Hill Street - it looks so much smaller now.
So. Many. Memories.
I’m grateful to be heading into year four with Visit Fish Creek, thank you for the opportunity!

my favorite of the weekend’s snow storm.
Nova + River.
My 23 year old bonded geldings.
I’ve had Nova since he was 6 years old and bought River five years ago to be his pal.
Horses are herd animals and deeply rely on companionship.
Whenever I tell people how old my horses are the next question usually is, “how long do they live?”
25 - 30 years is average.
