Why an empty basket you might ask?

April 20-26, 2025 is National Infertility Awareness Week.

For all you beautiful mommas out there who are waiting or trying for that little miracle of your own, I know seeing all the beautiful newborns that we share can be hard and truly heartbreaking. You are not alone, we are loving you, praying for you, and saving you a basket.

Some facts about infertility,
Did you know that…
• 1 in 8 women struggle with infertility
• 1 in 4 experience loss
• 1 in 160 pregnancies are affected by stillbirth?

This month there are many photographers who are sharing their empty buckets in honor of you. This empty basket symbolizes not only the emptiness of those who experience infertility often feel, but it is also a symbol of hope for all those families still praying for their miracle baby.

Newborns, for me, have truly become one of my favorite sessions to capture, and after becoming a mama myself, I cannot imagine how tough it is, going thru the trials of infertility! If the good Lord hasn’t blessed you with children, I pray He gives you peace and understanding through it! Just know, that if it is His will to bless you one day, I’ll always have a basket waiting for your biggest blessing! 🩵🩷🫶🏼
