A listless young adult, her tree-hugging crush, and an old couple team up to protest the closing of their favorite park.
SHOOTING IN MADISON.

ROLES:
Katie (18-21 F)
Hungover, listless student frustrated with society. Learns to defend the park she spends so much time taking for granted. Hippie-vibes. Has a crush on Parker.
Tom (70s M)
Bitter, but with a younger spirit than you’d think. Former activist and artist. Current park-goer and nature lover. Married to Rickie.
Rickie (70s M)
A soft old soul. The voice of reason. Has always enjoyed picnics at the park across the street. Former career man. Tom’s better half.
Parker (18-21 M)
An ecology student and avid naturalist. New in town and exploring the parks. The first to defend the park being closed. Has a crush on Katie.
Beth (30s-50s F)
Authoritative city employee. Fed up with bureaucracy. Former hippie. Needs to do her job, but empathizes with the group. Drake’s boss.
Employee (mid/late 20s)
City employee wanting to complete their task. Easily irritated. A bootlicker and bad at reading the room.
