I'm a country girl born and raised, my mom jokes that they sat me on a horse at 1 year old, and were never able to get me off of them. Growing up on a dairy farm we had a few of the hay burners around and I bought my first horse at 12 years old. There were always dogs and cats on the farm as well. We also had a few goats, chickens, ducks, pigs and a donkey or two. I always enjoyed photography as a

young girl, but set it aside when life took me down another path. I bought a nice camera for marketing our horses a few years back and found myself going out to take pictures around our small ranch in my spare time. It sparked the passion for photography again and I found myself putting together calendars each year. I now have a website with a gallery where prints of pictures I've taken can be ordered. I've also started offering portrait sessions. I love photographing pets and horses but also enjoy senior and family sessions. My services include much more than just a portrait session. I will work with you to create fine art for your home and memories that will last a lifetime.

Marissa was one of the winners from the 2025 Midwest Horse Fair giveaway. I spent an hour or so with them in August getting some portraits for her and her husband. It's always an adventure and I never know what I'll be in for, this time I climbed a few stairs to get some pictures at the grain bins. Shifting gears to an engagement session that was part of the package for a 2027 wedding. I've known Josh since he was a toddler staying at my mom & dad's bed & breakfast with his parents. His parents were gifted a stay there as a wedding gift and became part of our extended family. I'm so excited for these two and look forward to spending their wedding day with them, capturing all the special moments for them.

Caitlyn's last session for her Senior Pictures was spent with Cinnamon. You've seen Cinnamon in a past session with Caitlyn's mom. I'm not sure who I love the most out of this session. Vicki has done her work with Cinnamon, making her an amazing horse that does well at liberty. I respect that training and the horses trust in her. Last Sunday I spent some time taking pictures over at the Iowa County 4-H horse show. Unfortunately, I couldn't be there for the entire show, but I am glad I was able to get over there for a few hours. Congratulations to all the winners!

Goodness, it's been a while since I've posted! Life has been crazy busy for me. Here are a few favorites from Caitlyn's senior session. I had so much fun and absolutely adore this girl! When your nephew and his fiancé ask if you will come take pictures of their civil ceremony at the state capital - HECK YEA! Being the country girl I am, I had to go early drive around a few parking ramps first, only to get lucky enough to find a spot on the square on a very hot June day. If you haven't toured the capital in Madison, I recommend it - you can feel the history in there!
