How do you like my jumbo bonsai maple tree? It has a story behind it. A few years ago I was cleaning up some overgrown brush, vines and falling trees at the back of the lot. I discovered this tree covered with vines and a fallen tree. The trunk was broken. I propped it up with a forked stick for a year and it healed. I did some trimming last year and this year before it leafed out. I just love the unique shape and I’m proud of it. What do you think? 🙏💙

I’m always amazed and I praise the timing of nature that the dogwood blooms at Easter. This is a dogwood growing along the property line and blooming for the first time this year. Its said our Lord and Savior was crucified on a cross made from the dogwood and that’s why it no longer grows into a tree of size. The white blooms always reminds me of the pour and unconditional love of our Savior.

Easter. A time when we morn that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ died on the cross, dead and buried. But, we also celebrate His resurrection.
Spring gives us a beautiful example as nature wakes up with new life after a long winters sleep. 🙏💙
