Barry Urhahn.
Barry Urhahn has spent his whole working life in agriculture, and he has seen it from just about every side. He came up through ag retail, spent years as a seed man for NK Seed, and these days he is in sales for Greenpoint Ag — the person a lot of farmers around here talk to about what to put in the ground. But it isn't all advice and order sheets. Alongside the day job, Barry farms row crop of his own, together with his uncle.
That is a particular kind of life — to know the business from the counter and the sales route, and still want your own hands in your own dirt at the end of it, working ground with family. Farming gets into people that way, and it does not let go.
That is the kind of life Joe Craig made the Farm Project to set down. Barry's portrait is in the archive now — a permanent record, and a legacy handed down — made by the hand of Joe Craig, the Master of Light.
