TFW a photo of a candid moment is printed and hung up for the whole world to see 😍😍.

This is one of my favorite photos of the thousands I've created this year. Candid photos are my bread and butter. Sometimes a little work is needed to create a moment that feels spontaneous - this was not one of those moments.

My cousin, Anne, and her boyfriend, Adam, were sharing a lovie moment on the shore of Lake Erie at a family reunion. The real love they had was infectious, but the kiss they were trying to sneak was incredible (trying to pull a sneaky fast-one with a photographer in the area is basically a guarantee that it will be seen and captured...tsk tsk)

Love is love, and I love seeing it expressed. More than that, I love being able to capture love and call it my job!

'I'm a Modern!'
It's always a great feeling watching other creative types pour their hearts and souls into their work. Spending yesterday afternoon with the cast of What A Do Theatre's production of Thoroughly Modern Millie was truly awe-inspiring. These kids are going places!

Even on vacation, it's almost impossible to turn off the 'photographer' part of my brain. I know this, and I'll drive my wife crazy because I haul my kit along and always have a camera close to hand.
If I didn't do that, though, I wouldn't be able to capture totally spontaneous moments of love like this!

I've always loved crazy wide angles, so about a month ago, I got up the nerve and picked up a 12mm. The results do not disappoint.
