I ended up in workforce development because I bothered the Oak Park MiWorks office so much that they hired me. 😉 After almost two years, I landed in an entrepreneurial ecosystem and grew roots.

My favorite thing is the people. Solving problems and building systems for people to be more efficient in the work itself is where it’s at for me. Career development conversations are not only applicable to those looking for new positions. Exploring “who you are” and “how you operate” is critical for entrepreneurs as well.

Thank you to Doris Hage🙈🙉🙊 Angela Buccellato The Resume Rescue Lisa Bryant and Michigan Works! Association for providing information, encouragement and tools for the room to utilize.

Today I was able to share my successes and challenges as Kelainephoto at 1 Million Cups Detroit Metro Incubizo

Since presenting in Feb of 2025 I have:
* Doubled my revenue
* Added 12 new clients, including Lysa Davis | Business Coach | Speaker | Money Strategist , Life on Purpose Detroit, and Henry Ford, The ReVamp Clothing Swap Festival, After the Storm - MI The SOURCE
* Maintained long-term partnerships with Aya House TeQuion , Plug and Play, Health Initiative Fontinalis Partners and Bianca’s Haven

I’ve expanded services to include full communications management.
This isn’t just about social media. It’s about creating digital packages of your assets, building presentation decks, human-first content, and a genuine reflection of who you are and what your business does- so you can get back to work.

I’m thankful for the room of entrepreneurs and doers like Doris Hage Josh Ch*****ne Daryl L Peguese JuJuan Buford, Sr. Tenicia Moulden, Esq. Michael Muse Leah M Garber Darrell W/6 Strings 🎸 II Mike McClure and many others who pulled me aside to chat today and offer their insight on where I’m going and growing and how I can help others along the way without burning out.

Thankful for mentors and people like Princess Castleberry | Global Speaker Nicole Lewis pushing me forward.

David Eldridge for catching my good side! 📸

Finally, thankful to you for your referrals. If you and I have worked together, drop me an email at [email protected] and tell me about our experience, or leave a Google Business review!

Truly so thankful and lucky to be in the room with all of these (and many others). Looking forward to sharing my expertise in a workshop or room near you soon.
