Becky | Breast Cancer fighting baddie
In Becky’s own words “I am lifted up everyday by those around me. I say every day that there is no other way, I will beat this! Embracing this journey as purpose. I know this is the path I’m suppose to be on and I’m up for the challenge.”
I met Becky over a decade ago when she walked into the store I was working at as my very first trainee and then we worked at the same company for years before I left to pursue weddings full time. While this isn’t the way I would’ve liked to reconnect with her, I am so honored she put her full trust in me to capture something so personal to her.
If you know Becky, you know that no matter what she is going through, she always has a smile on her face and also looks for the positive in any situation, good or bad. She’s handling her new diagnosis that exact same way. I stood in a room full of her supporters while she’s shaved her head for the first time in her cancer journey and she did it with a smile on her face still. Does she not look amazing with a bald head too!?

What a way to end the 2025 season! I had the privilege of documenting Rachel and Taylors very snowy October private elopement in Holland in 2023 and on Friday, I was back at it for their big wedding day!
So much love, so many laughs and even some tears. Cheers to the Bookwalters!

I’ve realized I’ve never really shown my face on here outside of a very outdated headshot! So let me re-introduce myself!
I’m Erica - I’ve been in the business for over 15 years at this point, starting as a young college kid looking for other ways to still use my degree in photojournalism outside of just media work.
My goal is to always make you be able to feel the emotions in your images, the tears, the joy and the small moments. It’s more about documenting your day than just photographing it and I don’t take it lightly.
I love a good dance floor and will obsess over every small detail about your wedding day from the meaningful things to the table settings.
When I’m not working you can find me throwing dance parties in my living room with my 3 year old or pulling my (almost) 1 year down from things he’s definitely not suppose to be on.
