Puccinia coronata, Crown Rust Fungus. This is a fungal plant pathogen that needs two hosts in order to complete its life cycle. It starts on cereals and grasses for the first part of its lifecycle, then the spores are wind blown to its second host, in this case Glossy Buckthorn.
