As a photographer, so much of what I do is capturing the moments and people that mean the most to us, and storms like this are a reminder of just how precious those things are.

Praying for everyone in the path of Hurricane Isaias, for the safety of our families, the protection of our homes, and the communities that may be impacted. Lord, please watch over everyone during this storm, bring peace to those who are worried, and let there be minimal damage and safe returns home.

I will keep y’all updated on how sessions will run after this crazy mess is over!

A little reminder about inspiration 🤎

As creatives, we’re all inspired by the people and things around us. We see an idea we love, a style we admire, or a session concept that makes us think “OH MY GOSH. I want to create something like that.” & Honestly, I think that’s one of the coolest parts of being creative!

Take the inspiration & make it your own! Put your own personality into it, change it, build on it, and let it become something that could only come from YOU.

Inspiration is a starting point….not a blueprint. 😂

There are so many photographers, artists, and creatives doing amazing things. You don’t have to become someone else to create something beautiful. There is room for everyone to create, grow, and have their own style.

Be inspired. Then make it yours.

And for the love of God, add your own seasoning. 😂

STARTING MONDAY 🥂

Captured by Addison Leigh will officially be going FULL TIME.

This has been a dream of mine for so long, and I’m finally able to make it a reality because of YOU. I’m incredibly thankful for how much I’ve grown here in ALMOST a full year of living here.

Now, I will say… this is going to be a little bit of a transition. 😂 There’s still a lot that I need to get sorted out, changed around, and adjusted as I figure out what full-time photography looks like for me. So things may look a little different around here over the next few weeks while I get everything in order!

But this is the beginning of a HUGE new chapter for Captured by Addison Leigh, and I am SO excited.

Thank you to every single person who has booked with me, shared my work, recommended me, supported my business, or simply followed along. You have genuinely helped make this possible, and I will never take that for granted.

Here’s to going FULL TIME. 🤍
