Summer 2026 on the Emerald Coast. 🌊✨

I don't even know where to start. 🥹 To every family who trusted me with their special moments this summer, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! Every rainy afternoon, long drive, and sandy car mat was absolutely worth it.

This job is not lost on me. I'm so blessed to do what I do and there are lots of photographers in our area so I'm forever grateful for your support of me and my small business! These photos are just a handful of the wonderful families I've gotten to capture this year.

Last year my client showed up to the beach with a newborn. A brand new tiny baby who had no idea what was happening and honestly neither did any of us.

This year that same baby showed up as a full blown toddler running around the beach, playing in the water, and having the time of her life.

I am not okay 🥹

Something I always try to do at every family session is capture individual portraits of each kid.

It's one of my favorite parts of the whole session honestly. The group shots are important, the whole family together is the goal, but there is something about stopping and saying "okay, just you" to each child that produces some of the most meaningful images in the entire gallery.

This is who they are right now. This exact age, this exact smile, this exact phase that feels permanent until one day it just isn't anymore.

Parents always tell me the individual shots end up being their favorites. I believe it every time I deliver a gallery and I make sure we get them whenever we can.

Something really exciting is coming this fall and I've been looking forward to announcing it. 🍁

On October 3rd I'll be setup at Old Spanish Trail in Crestview as one of the official photographers at The Pumpkin Village! The whole idea of this event is to make fall photos feel less like an errand and more like an actual family day. You come, we do your session, and then you spend the rest of the day enjoying everything the event has to offer.

Pumpkin patch. Local vendors. Food trucks. Petting zoo. Pony rides. Bounce house. Live music. The whole fall experience in one place.

I'm offering one 20 minute session, 8-10 professionally edited images, delivered within one week of the event. Pre-booking is open now at $65 and walk-up sessions on the day will be $75. Spots are limited so pre-booking is the move if you want to guarantee your time slot!

It definitely still feels like summer here in Mid-August on the Emerald Coast, but fall will be here before you know it!

This is honestly one of my favorite times of year. Most of the tourists are gone, the heat starts to break (at least back down to the lower 90s/upper 80s lol), the water is still warm, and golden hour gets even more beautiful.

I've still got dates for September and October available and I want to fill them with families who understand the fall beach vibes. Whether you're local or a tourist that wanted to beat the crowds, photos on the Emerald Coast beaches is always the right choice.

Bigger families doesn't have to mean more chaos when it comes to photo sessions, it just means more time! That's exactly why I require a bigger package for larger families, because rushing 14 people through a 30 minute session is a recipe for disaster. Photos get missed, kids aren't paying attention, and no one walks away happy. Including me. 😅

Here's my rule of thumb:
10-15 people --- 45 minute Sapphire Session
16+ people --- 60 minute Topaz Session

And yes, your kiddos, no matter how small, count as people too! Extra time means we get all the group shots AND the smaller family units AND the candid moments! Getting the whole crew on the beach may not happen for another few years, and that deserves more than a rushed half hour session.

The strangers walking behind your family during golden hour? Gone. 🌊✨

One of my favorite parts of the editing process is cleaning up the background. Whether it's other tourists, umbrellas, that one guy who walked directly into your family portrait at the worst possible second.

You'd be amazed what a little editing can do. Your gallery looks like you had the whole beach to yourselves even if you absolutely did not.

This is part of what you're getting when you hire a professional photographer, polished images that look the way they were supposed to.

I absolutely love when clients tell me "I want to get on your schedule for next year!"

It's the best feeling to have as a photographer, when clients trust you so much they want to be photographed by you again and again! This client was no exception. Last year it was out near Grayton Beach, this year it was in Fort Walton. Same family, different location, same beautiful Emerald Coast!
