A little color walk adventure with my photog bestie, Stephanie ❤️💛

Her color: RED.
My color: YELLOW.

We hit downtown Fort Walton Beach with our cameras and somehow Stephanie found approximately 847 red things… while I was apparently assigned to the construction zone. 😂🚧💛

It was SO fun — hot as all get-out, but fun. We finished around 9:30 and said we were taking a “water break,” which quickly turned into, “Okay… I think we’re good.” 😂🥵

But honestly, this was the whole point: get outside, create something, laugh until our faces hurt, and spend a little time together without talking about work, life, or a million other things. Just being present and having fun.

There is something so special about capturing families alongside my hubby. ❤️

The Goetz family was such a joy to photograph! We had a pop-up squall roll through on the way to their session and the wind was definitely keeping us on our toes, but they embraced every moment with laughter, love, and so much grace.

After more than 15 years behind the camera, sessions like this still remind me why I love what I do. Multi-generational family photos are so important because having everyone together at the same time is something that becomes more precious with each passing year.

Thank you, Goetz family, for trusting us to capture these beautiful memories. It was truly an honor! 🤍
