30A family photographer sessions like this are exactly why I love getting to photograph returning families 🤍

I met Melissa and her crew last year and getting to see them again this year honestly made me so happy. First of all… HOW did her boys get this big already because I swear nobody warned me time moves like this.

But what got me most wasn't that they were taller.

It was the connection.

Last year we made beautiful images. This year felt different. Softer. Easier. More them.

The boys had their moments, ran around, did boy things, mom and dad had little quiet moments in between, and somehow those are always the photos that end up meaning the most.

That first photo especially… I don't know if Melissa even realizes it yet but that's one of those forever ones.

Thank you for trusting me again to freeze another season for your family. I already know when I finish editing this gallery there are going to be some REALLY sweet moments in there .

I can’t even put into words how IN LOVE I am with these photos. But if I had to pick a favorite, it would absolutely be this one. The sun flare, the palm trees, that gorgeous golden light… it feels like pure magic. Honestly, it might be one of the most magical images I’ve ever captured.

Shai, thank you so much for including me in such a special day. I loved everything about your wedding…the intimacy, the emotion, and especially the vows you wrote to each other. You could feel how much love and intention was behind every word. It was such an honor to be apart of this and document those moments for you both.!

These two said “I do” right in front of the beautiful Henderson Park Inn in Destin, and honestly… it was proof that you don’t need a huge guest list or an over-the-top production to have an absolutely incredible wedding day.

The WOLZ family absolutely CRUSHED this session. This Half Beach Session was such a fun one to shoot and the kids did AMAZINGGGGG. Like… full on little rockstars!!!

Now listen… we were definitely fighting the wind from that storm rolling in, but honestly? The dramatic clouds showed up and showed out, so I can’t even be mad about it because the beach looked SO PRETTY. Mother Nature definitely said, “I’ll make you work for it, but here’s a cinematic sky as payment.”

A little info about my Half Beach Sessions…

These are always shot in the morning because I learned REAL quick years ago that afternoon minis + Florida heat = nobody having a good time. Sweaty faces, hair glued to your neck, kids melting down, dads questioning life choices… HARD PASS!

Morning light is prettier, temps are better, and everybody survives the experience looking cute and not overstimulated by the Florida heat!

As for JUNE AVAILABILITY — I only have about 5 spots left for Half Beach Sessions! So if you’ve been wanting a true “mini” session, THIS is what I consider a mini!!

I am still not over this day!

When they told me they wanted to skip the giant guest list, the seating charts, the stress, and all the extra noise to just run off and elope on the beach in Destin… I was like YES. Immediately yes!

And honestly? It was perfect.�No pressure. No production. Just the two of them, the ocean, the sunset, and the kind of love you can literally feel standing next to them.

These are the kinds of weddings that make me emotional because it’s not about putting on a show for everyone else. It’s about being fully present with your person. And let me tell you… these two made it feel effortless. Like I was just tagging along with two best friends who also belong on the cover of a magazine. 🤍

There’s just something different about a 30A elopement. The wind, the water, the intimacy of it all… it hits different every single time.

Some clients just have my whole heart and Angie's family is one of them!

When her daughter's senior year rolled around, they came back to 30A and trusted me again to capture this season and honestly that never gets old. There is something so special about a family that keeps coming back!

This girl showed up to Inlet Beach and absolutely owned every single second of her senior beach session. White lace, emerald water, and that early morning Florida Gulf Coast light doing what it does best! She was glowing from the inside out and I was just lucky enough to be there to catch it.

They said “I do” with their toes in the sand and the Gulf Coast turning gold behind them, and honestly? I still can’t get over it!

Megan and Kevin chose the most them kind of wedding…no big venue, no 200 guests, just the two of them, a bouquet, and the most beautiful stretch of Panama City Beach at golden hour. A beach elopement on the Florida Gulf Coast hits different when the sky looks like that and the waves decide to play along.

This is what I get to do. I get to stand on the beach with two people fully in it,laughing, splashing, kissing in the surf, and just... capture it. No posing required when the love is this real.

Little Makylie would be so proud of the Makylie you are now. Life has thrown you some of the biggest curveballs, but your outlook through every single one of them … “it’s for the plot”…is what kept you going… and honestly, what kept me going too.

I’m so proud of the woman you’ve become, and not surprised by it one bit… but I am in awe of you. Looking at these side by side…your first day of preschool and now your graduation day… I see every hurdle, every lesson, every moment in between… and somehow that same sparkle and glow in your eyes is still there.

You, my little Kiki, are truly one amazing soul. My Freaky Kiki. I love you to God, Jesus, and back. Always and forever.

The before and after that still gets me every time!

Shai and Cody eloped on Henderson Beach and I just... this light. That sun flare hitting right through the palms while they’re wrapped up in each other on those Seaside cottage steps…I saw the light and the light flare and knew I had to get a shot with it!

This is exactly why I always say yes to the in-between moments. We weren’t even on the beach anymore and Shai asked if we could get some shots in the front of and I was totally down because it’s a beautiful building and how could I say no?!

Elopements on the Emerald Coast are something else entirely. No timeline pressure, no crowd, just two people and whatever the Florida Panhandle sky decides to do that evening.

Becky told me she had done beach photos before, but last year’s session with another photographer just didn’t quite capture what she was hoping for. Her little ones were obviously younger and as we all know a trip with that much sun can make the easiest of babies say NOPE NOT RIGHT NOW, IM TIRED! So this year, Becky found her way to 30A and found her way to me and we went for it.

Full morning session on the sand, and then she said she was down for water shots and that’s when everything just opened up. That curly-headed little boy toddling along the shoreline on his own? Living in my heart rent free forever!!

Fellow moms, we know. Sometimes you just need to find your people. And when you do? It’s PERFECTION!
