There are some families whose love feels almost tangible—warm, steady, and full of goodness. For us, that’s Jason and Keri and their three beautiful children.
If you’ve ever had the privilege of knowing them, you know:
They are the family who would give you the shirt off their backs.
The ones who show up first, help quietly, love deeply, and ask for nothing in return.
The ones whose kindness has touched more people than they will ever realize.
And now, they are facing a battle no family should ever have to endure.
For the last four years, Jason has been fighting stage 4 kidney cancer that has spread to multiple areas throughout his body. He has endured more than most of us can comprehend—treatments, setbacks, hope, heartbreak, and the relentless uncertainty of what comes next.
All while trying to hold onto the moments that matter most… moments with Keri, and moments with their children.
And Keri—
his wife, his best friend, the mother of their babies—
has been carrying the weight of it all.
She is caring for Jason, caring for their home, caring for their kids, and caring for a life that keeps demanding more from her than anyone should be asked to give.
She is watching the man she loves fade in and out of strength, all while trying to shield their children with love, routine, and stability. She is doing everything she can, but this journey has taken a toll—emotionally, physically, and financially.
They have exhausted every option.
Every avenue of treatment.
Every bit of strength a family can pour into a fight like this.
And now they need their community more than ever.
Because this family means so much to us, I am dedicating the next several weeks to doing what I can to support them. I will be offering my photography services and donating half of every single session directly to Keri and Jason to help with medical costs, household needs, and the many hidden burdens that come with a long, heartbreaking battle like this.
