It was a privilege and an honor to have been able to capture in photos a Project Healing Waters event we held in Sunriver, Oregon this past June. The Sunriver Anglers hosted three Veterans from California, and three Veterans from Oregon in this event.

Wildflowers at Sunset. This was a couple weeks ago on Coffin Mountain. The wildflowers in this meadow were spectacular!

A window on the Sisters. This was taken near Coffin Mountain quite a ways from the Three Sisters. We got lucky with a brief window in the cloud cover at sunset to illuminate these over the Bear Grass.

Last night we found the most glorious meadow full of Bear Grass and Rhododendrons. This year is the best I have seen for early season wildflowers.

Spring in the high country is arriving. The Cascade Lakes Highway just opened, and scenes like this one abound.

Will it ever be summer again? This wildflower surrounded stream is buried deep in snow right about now. But in a few months, this scene will unfold once again. Nature is truly beautiful.
