Hey, what’s up, hello! First, I just wanna let the world know that my 2024 books are officially open 🥳
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
With that, I just wanna chat for a sec. I’ve been wrestling with a decision I have made because I love being a part of my couple’s special days, but I also have been slowing down to make space in my life to enjoy other things. So with that being said, I’ll be cutting back on weddings; I will still be taking them on but only a maximum of 2 weddings a month with more of a focus on smaller weddings and elopements. I will be still taking portrait session clients: maternity, small families, couples, etc. By continuing to offer these, I will still be able to continue my relationships with all my clients and watch their lives grow and evolve. And honestly I love freezing these moments in time; it’s just such a special feeling!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am hoping this small step back opens up some time for me to focus more on other things like travel photography–what really brought me into the photography world. Growing up, my parents always made it a point to take us on a big vacation once a year. I would always be snapping photos on my disposable or point-and-shoot camera of things we were doing. I just know I need to continue that tradition–and add a few more trips than just one a year–and keep exploring! Also, it's going to give me the time to try different things I’ve wanted to try and spend more time with my fav humans. My hobby list I wanna try is growing–if you wanna see it, let me know cause I would love to share! I also would love to start bringing you along for some of these adventures too, so you may be seeing some of that!

- This girl made me do a hike….IN SANDALS
- I had to walk the dog on the hike….IN SANDALS
- I had to hold her child while taking pictures of them…IN SANDALS

BUTTT….

- I was the one that didn’t bring tennis shoes 😆😆😆 even though I knew there was a little bit of a hike 🤦🏼‍♀️
- I was the one who said we should bring the pup 😁 (cause if you know me, pups are always a must!)
- I was the one who wanted to get some of just the two of them (mommy & daddy), so I held Mr.Henry cause we didn’t need him falling off the side of the cliff 😬 and I love the little man!

All this to say, this girl is my best friend and I love her little fam dearly! I am so thankful she trusts me with taking her family photos and choosing such a beautiful place to do them 🤍

What’s everyone’s guilty pleasure TV show, or the show you hate to say you love….
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Mine is probably a little embarrassing and cliché, but it’s Bachelor in Paradise 😆 The drama in it gets me every time 😂 And right now, the new season is airing and I am here for it! The show is honestly a little ridiculous, but I just have to watch it!
