Hello 👋 it's been a min!

Wow! It sure has been a while. I've been pretty busy with...
👓 Started a new job at a local ad agency in DSM
✈️ Traveled for work (and leisure)
🐕 Rescued another dog (now we have three!)
📸 Hired as a second-shooter for a few of weddings in the metro
🏡 Completed a few home projects
💪 Competed in my first-ever, all-women's powerlifting meet (250 women competed in this event! How cool is that?)

But, we're back and have a couple of shoots lined up in the next couple of months. I'll be photographing:
👰 Two weddings, one as the main photog and one as the second
👪 A family of four! Two kiddos and their parents

The positive energy and love was apparent between this beautiful couple. The day started off with snow - which threw us in for a loop. Despite the possibility that they might not get the perfect fall look for their engagement photos (luckily the snow melted!), Mackenzie and Adam wanted to move forward with it. It was clear that the most important thing for them was to display their love for each other in these photos - no matter the curveball weather Iowa tends to have.

Their infectious smiles and laughter made this shoot and produced timeless memories.

Best of luck to this wonderful couple, for many years to come!💞
