Latest batch of prints: 8"x12" on Fuji Pearl. Photography feels so different in print vs digital, and I feel like I'm starting all over again. I was once told by a photographer that photos don't really exist until you print them, and in going through my archives to select images to print, I'm finding that to be all too true. I just wish frames weren't so expensive.

My brother, Elliott, asked me to take a few promo photos for him, so I happily obliged, though it had been a little while since I had shot something like that. He came out to Iowa, and we did a quick shoot with one flash off camera before we spent the next few days at the 80/35 Music Festival. Anyways, I just sent him the photos, so I don't technically have his OK to post anything, but this one's been wandering around after I sent him a proof so I figure it's fine to post it. Not too bad, I think, considering I haven't done any off-camera lighting work in over a year.
