How is it already mid-July? I swear we just packed up our backpacks and school lunches, and now here we are - chasing fireflies, dripping popsicles, and watching our kids somehow grow inches overnight.

This summer, I’ve been trying to soak up the small moments with my own little ones - the freckles on their noses, their wild pool hair, and the way their laughter echoes down the sidewalk. It’s all flying by so fast, and I find myself holding on tight to these fleeting stages.

Heading into Mother’s Day weekend with a full heart and a to-do list that’s trying its best - and let’s be real, what else is new? 🙃

As a motherhood photographer (and mama myself), I’ve learned that the most productive days don’t always look “perfect.” So before we all dive into brunch plans, flower deliveries, and maybe sneaking in a nap (a girl can dream!), here are 3 quick, real-life productivity tips that actually work - especially when you’re time is not your own:

🌸 Anchor your day with one non-negotiable. Whether it’s editing one gallery, taking a walk, or finally drinking your coffee hot, choose one thing that helps you feel grounded - and call it a win.

🪴Prep your space - and your mind - for Monday. A 10 minute tidy up and a simple brain dump to your notebook now means you’ll walk into next week with a little more peace (and a little less overwhelm).

📷 Capture the little moments this weekend - for you. Not for the feed, not for the client. Just for your heart. That blurry kitchen hug or early morning snuggle? That’s the real gold.

Happy Lunar New Year! I spent some time learning about the Year of the Snake today, and it turns out it’s my Lunar New Year animal! 🐍 The snake symbolizes wisdom, intuition, and adaptability – qualities I strive for in both my personal life and business.

This year, specifically, is the Year of the Wood Snake, with the wood element holding profound meaning as it’s associated with letting go for growth.

This year has already had an interesting start, and I feel a real sense of potential for growth and transformation.

I’m definitely ready to embrace it. Are you ready for it?
