Thomas + Bridget’s wedding day was filled with so much joy, and one of the sweetest parts was watching their families surround them with love. From happy tears to endless laughter, it felt like two families becoming one.

Bridget loves that she can be completely herself around Thomas. He makes her feel comfortable and confident, and somehow always knows how to make her smile.

NEWBORN SESSION TIPS:

// Reach out to your photographer during your pregnancy, around the second trimester. I like to get your due date on my calendar and then we’ll solidify a specific date and time once babe arrives.

// Dress is neutral or earthy tones. These colors are always the most timeless and photograph really well. Those soft, creamy, tones are the best!

// Try to feed your baby shortly before your session. This way they’ll have a full tummy and hopefully be getting sleepy. However, babies are unpredictable, so if you have to feed them during that session that’s alright too. I’m a momma, so I understand the unpredictability, hormones, and all that newborn entails. We’ll just go with the flow of your babe.

// Babies typically photograph best swaddled or in a snug sleeper. This way they feel warm and cozy and allows me to slowly unwrap them so that we can see their little features such as fingers and toes.

Well, it was a tale as old as time. Shakespearean tragedy without the tragedy. It all began on a crisp spring evening when, alone, Anna sat tinkering on one of her most constant but most hated hobbies... swiping on hinge. When all of a sudden, through the fog of mediocrity, she stumbled upon a handsome doctor. She was instantly smitten. She initiated the conversation inquiring about his intentions to run a half-marathon (he had claimed on his profile that he had always wanted to run a marathon; this asssertion was superfluous at best).

Cam was instantly taken aback. Like a phoenix from the ashes, he had recently put the pieces of his mind/body/soul back together after a breakup. After months of prayer, reflection, and healing, he thought to himself, “I think I am ready to get back out there.....but I will NOT date someone in my town.. too risky”. If he had a type, a dream girl, per se, it would be summed up as thus: A crunchy, Jesus-loving redhead. Alas, one night, shortly after downloading a cursed dating app, she appeared on his screen and stole his heart.

NOW IN ONE MONTH THEY’RE GET MARRIED!!!!!

This is my job.

The laughter. The tears. The glances across the room. The extra squeeze of a hand.

Every couple arrives carrying a lifetime that led them here. A childhood. A family. Traditions. Heartbreak. Joy. A thousand little moments that led to this one, their “us.”
