This photo is for everyone who’s ever asked if I take my own kids photos 😅

And also a reminder that even as a photographer… my kids are still kids. The chaos, the silliness, the running around, the “please just smile for one second” moments… it’s all the same over here too.

BUT, this is exactly why I photograph sessions the way I do. I’m nit going to be focused on perfect poses or perfectly behaved kids. I care way more about the real stuff happening in front of my camera. I want the connection, the personalities, the in between moments, and the way this season of life actually feels.

Because at the end of the day I think these are always the photos that end up meaning the most.

SUNMER SESSIONS ARE WHERE THE MAGIC LIVES ☀️✨

If you’ve ever thought, “I just want photos that feel like us…” - this is it.

Summer sessions aren’t about stiff poses or perfect outfits. They’re about movement, laughter, and those in-between moments you didn’t even realize you’d want to remember forever.

Think:
✨ barefoot babies
✨ golden hour glow
✨ chasing your kids through a field
✨ popsicles, bubbles, fishing, kites, or just piling into a snuggle

This is your permission to let go of “perfect” and lean into connection. Because those are always the images you come back to.

And honestly? Summer is the easiest season to make it FUN for your kids (which means less stress for you 🙌).

I’ve opened up my remaining May + June dates and they are LIMITED. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
