To the mothers. The moms in the thick of it right now, the ones dreaming of becoming one someday, the ones missing their babies, the ones healing, loving, sacrificing, showing up every single day in ways no one else sees… Happy Mother’s Day. 💛
Motherhood has completely changed the way I see the world. Since becoming a mom, I notice the little things more. The tiny hands reaching for comfort, the look between a mother and her child, the chaos, the softness, the love that exists even in the exhausting moments. It’s made me slower, more emotional, more grateful, and honestly more aware of just how much mothers carry every single day.
Behind my lens, I get to witness little pieces of that love all the time. A mom fixing her dancer’s hair before photos. The proud tears during senior sessions. The way dancers look back at their mom to check the poses she prepared or the posing inspo they picked out together beforehand. Those moments may seem small, but they say everything.
Your efforts do not go unnoticed. The late nights, the mental load, the cheering everyone else on while running on empty sometimes… it matters. You matter.
Being a mom has been one of the biggest blessings of my life, and it’s also given me such a deeper appreciation for every mother I photograph and meet along the way.
Today we celebrate you. 🤍 ❤️ ❤️
