When I say this girl is GORGEOUS…I mean, absolutely gorgeous. She is one of those girls who makes my job behind the camera so easy because she photographs beautifully without even trying. But the more I’ve gotten to know Marli, the more I’ve realized that what makes her truly beautiful goes far beyond what you see in a photograph.

Marli has such a sweet, kind and beautiful spirit. She’s a little quieter, but there is something so genuine about her. She’s a great friend, incredibly kind, and always willing to go along with whatever idea I come up with for a session. If I say, “Trust me,” she’s willing to try it and I LOVE that about her! 🤍

She’s also super athletic, playing both basketball and softball, and I can’t wait to see that side of her too. Strong, talented, beautiful…and yet so sweet and kind in the way she carries herself.

Now, we do have ONE area we’re going to be working on this year…HUGGING. 😂 Y’all know I’m a hugger, so naturally I went in for a hug and quickly discovered that Miss Marli is, in fact, NOT. A. HUGGER. 😂 But don’t worry, Marli…we have an entire senior year together, and by the end of it, I am determined to teach you how to melt into the hug. 🤣🤍

But what I really love is getting to know the heart behind the beautiful girl I photograph.

Marli’s favorite verse is Isaiah 41:10:

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God…”

When I asked her why this verse was her favorite, her answer made me love it even more. She said that in the hardest times of her life, when she feels weak or alone, this verse reminds her that God is there to be strong for her. 🤍

And THAT is the kind of beauty that no photograph can fully capture.

Yes, Marli is absolutely stunning on the outside and goodness, is she easy to take gorgeous pictures of but it’s her kind heart, beautiful spirit, quiet sweetness and faith in the Lord that make her even more beautiful.

Marli, as you walk through your senior year and into everything God has ahead for you, hold tightly to that truth: you are never alone. When you feel weak, He will strengthen you. When you’re afraid, He will help you and when life feels uncertain, He is still holding you with His righteous right hand. 🤍

So thankful you’re one of my senior reps and so excited for all the memories, adventures, gorgeous pictures…and MUCH improved hugs we have ahead of us this year. 😂🤍

There are some people who quietly teach others what strength looks like not by having an easy path, but by choosing to keep walking after every setback.

Watching this beautiful girl grow has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. She has been knocked down more times than I wish she ever had to be, yet she continues to get back up with grace, humility, and unwavering faith. That kind of resilience isn’t found in self-confidence alone; it’s found in a heart that is anchored in Christ.

More than anything, I love that she loves Jesus. She doesn’t just speak about her faith, she lives it. She seeks the Lord, stays faithful to her convictions, and strives to honor Him even when it’s difficult. In a world that often encourages compromise, she chooses obedience. That is the greatest beauty I see in her.

She has an encouraging heart, gives wise advice, and remains fiercely loyal to the people she loves. She is the kind of friend who shows up, the kind of sister who leads with love, and the kind of daughter who makes this mama incredibly proud. Even when she’s disappointed or treated unfairly, she continues to lead by example, choosing kindness over bitterness and grace over resentment. She has an incredible ability to find the good in people, and her heart reflects the love of Christ in ways that often go unnoticed.

She is driven, determined, and works hard for the things she believes God has called her to do. I have no doubt the Lord will continue to use her life for His glory because she has chosen to build it on the only foundation that never fails.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5

Sweet girl, never stop trusting Him. The same God who has carried you through every disappointment will continue to direct every step ahead. I love you more than words could ever say, and I couldn’t be more grateful to call you my daughter. Love you, Cruzie.

Two years. Countless memories. And a love story that continues to grow with every season. 🤍

Some relationships aren’t built on grand moments alone they’re built in the everyday. In the laughter, the encouragement, the patience, the grace, and the choice to keep showing up for one another.

Watching these two together, it’s easy to see the joy they share and the friendship that anchors their relationship. As they celebrate two years together, my prayer is that they continue to build a love that reflects Christ one that grows deeper with every chapter yet to come.

“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. There are some people whose kindness speaks long before they ever say a word, and Rilyn is one of them.

With the sweetest heart, the most joyful spirit, and the most beautiful fun-loving personality, she has a way of making everyone around her feel seen and valued. She is loving, helpful, honest, hardworking, and intentional in all that she does. She is so spunky and fun, and whether she’s encouraging a friend or loving on her four younger siblings, she leads with genuine compassion and quiet strength. She doesn’t seek attention for the good she does, it’s simply who she is.

As she steps into this exciting senior year, my prayer is that she continues to let her light shine so brightly for Christ, knowing He has beautiful plans ahead. Her light for Jesus is truly radiant.

Some people quietly leave a lasting impression, and Lilly Belle is one of those people.

She may be quiet, but don’t let that fool you. Behind that gentle spirit is a hilarious sense of humor that keeps me laughing. She’s tall, graceful, and absolutely beautiful, but what stands out even more is her heart. Lilly is kind, respectful, and caring.

Getting to spend a week with her this summer was such a gift. Somewhere between the adventures, conversations, and all the photos, she became like my little bestie. Those are memories I’ll always treasure.

Photographing Lilly is so much fun. She has a natural elegance in front of the camera, but it’s her genuine spirit that makes every session special. She doesn’t have to be loud to be noticed. Her quiet confidence, sweet heart, and joyful personality shine in every photograph.

One of her favorite verses is Ephesians 4:1–2:

“I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called, with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love.”

When I read those words, I can’t help but think of her. Lilly naturally reflects humility, gentleness, kindness, and love in the way she treats others. Those qualities are beautiful today, but they’ll be even more valuable as she steps into all the Lord has planned for her.

I’m so thankful you’re part of the TKP family, sweet girl. It has been such a joy watching you grow, laughing with you, and making memories I’ll always cherish. Friday nights in DeRidder are just different. 💙🏈

The lights shine a little brighter. The crowd gets a little louder. The band fills the stadium with familiar songs. The cheerleaders and dancers bring the energy. The players leave everything they have on the field and this year, the Dragons get to make memories on a brand new turf that marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

Friday Night Lights are about so much more than football. They’re about tradition, school pride, lifelong friendships, and the privilege of representing something bigger than yourself.

Every practice, every performance, every touchdown, every cheer, every halftime routine, and every moment under those lights becomes part of a story these students will carry with them long after graduation.

Here’s to another season of community, school spirit, unforgettable memories, and Friday nights that remind us why small-town traditions are so special.

Some people have a way of making life more fun simply by being themselves…and Catherine is one of those people. 🤍

Today we’re celebrating a girl who is equal parts hilarious, beautiful, and genuinely kind. She has the kind of personality that draws people in, keeps everyone laughing, and reminds you not to take life too seriously. She’s always up for making memories, loves having a plan, and somehow manages to be both the life of the party and the steady, dependable friend everyone can count on.

She is the kind of friend everyone hopes to have, dependable, encouraging, caring, and the first to lift someone else up. She would truly give the shirt off her back for the people she loves, and her heart for serving and encouraging others is one of the many things that makes her so special. Her positivity is genuine, her kindness is constant, and her joy is contagious.

It has been such a joy getting to know the beautiful young woman you are becoming. Your outer beauty is undeniable, but it’s your heart, your humor, and the way you love people so well that leave the greatest impression.

There is something so refreshing about a heart that chooses joy, and that is exactly what you’ll find in Addison.

From the moment you meet her, you’re greeted with a smile that never seems to fade. She carries herself with kindness, humility, and a genuine joy that makes everyone around her feel welcome. Even though she’s the only senior rep from Singer, she stepped into this group with such grace. She didn’t hesitate to introduce herself, build friendships, and become part of the team. That kind of confidence wrapped in humility is rare, and it’s one of the many things I admire about her.

Addison is beautiful inside and out. Her tall, elegant presence may catch your attention first, but it’s her positive spirit, contagious laughter, and gentle heart that leave the greatest impression. She has a way of making every moment brighter simply by being herself.

One of Addison’s favorite verses is Isaiah 60:22:
“When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen.”

What a beautiful reminder that God is writing every chapter of her story in His perfect timing. Addison, never lose that joyful spirit or the kindness you so naturally pour into others. I can’t wait to see all the places the Lord leads you. The best is still to come. 🤍
