This past month has been a challenging one. 🤎

Busy season is officially here, and on top of trying to keep up with sessions, editing, messages and everything that comes with running my business, my beautiful baby boy has been dealing with a lot of stuff that we’re working on getting taken care of.

My turnaround time has been a little slower than normal. I absolutely suck at posting sneak peeks lately, my messages might take me a little longer to answer, and some days I feel like I’m just trying to exist and make it through the day. 😅

I’m still here. I’m still editing. Your galleries are still coming. I’m still showing up to every session and giving you guys everything I have. I’m just also a mom before I’m a photographer, and right now life needs a little more of me than usual.

Thank you to everyone who has been patient, kind and understanding with me. I appreciate it more than you know. 🤎

I’ve NEVER done this before and I am SOOO excited to finally announce that I’m putting together my very first KJ PHOTOGRAPHY SENIOR AMBASSADOR TEAM!! 🥹🤎

I’m looking for 6–8 Class of 2027 seniors who are outgoing, involved, love being in front of the camera and are excited to represent KJ Photography throughout their senior year!

And NO, you do not have to have thousands of followers to apply!! I care way more about finding seniors who are excited to participate, make friends, have fun and actually represent my business. 🫶🏼

WHAT YOU GET 👀

📸 One FULL individual senior session
🤎 3 fun themed group shoots throughout the year
🎓 Cap & gown group shoot
✨ Every good image from ambassador shoots
📸 First access to special/model-call sessions

✨ Have more open availability and reliable travel sources if needed (drivers license and car preferred but not required)

✨ Be active, communicate and HAVE FUN with it
✨ While representing KJ Photography, you cannot actively advertise/promote another senior photographer

Doing something a little different this month because I wanted to give more of you a chance to snag one! We’ll have TWO different locations, so PLEASE double check the date/location before booking! 👀

🤎 October 8th — Mill Race Park in Columbus
🤎 October 19th — Muscatatuck in Seymour

These will both be evening/after school time slots!

✨ 20 minute session
✨ Minimum of 10 edited images, but every good image will be returned
✨ Pay what you can with a minimum of $40

I LOVE being able to offer these sessions every month and make pictures affordable for families who may not normally be able to spend $100s on a session. 🥹

With that being said, please remember that PWYC means paying what you genuinely can. These sessions still take my time to photograph, travel, cull, edit and deliver. If you’re able to give a little more or tip on top, PLEASE do. 🤎 I want to keep offering these, but it has to stay fair to me and my time too!
