A small upgrade that made a huge difference. 🤍

The other day was my first newborn session tethered directly into Evoto, and I don't think I can go back.

As I photographed baby, each image appeared instantly on my laptop and mirrored right onto the studio TV. Instead of wondering how their photos were turning out, parents were able to sit back, relax, and watch their gallery come to life in real time.

Parents could follow along and got excited over every tiny detail, and we were even able to make small adjustments during the session to create the best possible images.

It's little touches like this that make the experience feel even more personalized, seamless, and luxurious from start to finish. ✨

Everyone always asks how I get kids to smile during sessions... and one of my biggest secrets is actually pretty simple: Simon Says. 🤍

Want a genuine smile? Simon says touch your nose. Simon says jump up and down. Simon says make your silliest face. Before they know it, they're laughing, playing, and completely forgetting there's a camera in front of them.

The truth is, great children's portraits aren't about asking kids to sit still and say cheese. They're about creating an experience that feels fun, natural, and full of play.

And that's just one of the many tricks I keep up my sleeve during sessions. 😉

One year down, a lifetime of Mets games to go. 💙

From his tiny uniform to the baseball-filled backdrop, every detail of this cake smash was a home run. Watching little personalities shine during first birthday sessions is one of our favorite parts of what we do, and this sweet boy absolutely stole the show.
