First, a little about me since it's nice to know who you're going to be working with! I'm a mama to four amazing souls, my oldest two are now adults (ages 21 & 18) and I homeschool my youngest two (ages 12 & 8), while I run this little photography business that I'm so passionate about. Four Willows Photography is inspired by my children and my love for photographic art. My children are the "4" in
Four Willows. Willow trees remind me of childhood, because willow trees always seemed so magical and beautiful especially when the lightning bugs were out. I'm originally from a very small town in Georgia, which you may catch on to when you hear my accent when we speak in person. Four Willows Photography was established in November 2012 in Colorado, after 20 years of love for photography and art. I was completely inspired by the mountains, the trees, the red of the rocks and the people I met my first year there, that becoming a professional photographer happened so naturally. It was always meant to be. I am an emotive storyteller and an artist. I shoot mostly during the sunset because I find that our day seems to be so much more peaceful and the light is so beautiful at sunset. I specialize in family portraits and adventure elopement photography as well as being a photography mentor for other photographers. The sessions you have with me are all about creating memories with your loved ones in the moment. These are "heirloom moments", if you will. The kind of moments you want to hang onto for a lifetime and pass down through the years. You want to remember the way their hand looks in yours, or the way the curls of hair look up against their sweet little face, or the way he looks at you when you're playing with the kids.
