A reminder to 2027 and 2028 brides and grooms —romance doesn’t always have to live in soft pastels.

Sometimes it looks like deep reds, candlelit rooms, rich textures, an opera performance drifting through the evening, and a celebration that feels both editorial and deeply personal.

Proof that bold can still feel timeless, refined, and undeniably romantic.

Last week, I had the honor of celebrating with colleagues and friends in the wedding industry—the kind of collective whose work shapes beauty in ways both seen and felt.

With and every detail felt considered—from the smallest touches to expansive moments. The kind of beauty that doesn’t ask for attention, but holds it anyway. Just when you thought it had all been done, they continue to raise the bar and set the standards higher. Even when higher felt impossible.

What stayed with me though wasn’t the fashion or the tables or the music—it was the feeling in the room. The ease. The generosity. The way everyone shows up for each other without needing to say it out loud.

A quiet understanding that there’s space for all of us here. That when one rises, it somehow lifts the rest.

Thank you to House of Wilde, Wilde and Co., and the talented vendor team for an evening that felt both grounding and expansive—for giving us the space to celebrate and revel in the beauty of friendship, partnership, and a shared passion for the arts.

The term ‘luxury’ is so subjective. For me, luxury photography means less about being polish, perfect, and predictable—more about emotive, evolving, and experienced storytelling.

Watching the 2026 Olympics in Italy brings back unforgettable memories with this bride and groom. The ceremony was set—one side facing Lake Como and the other facing the iconic Villa Sola Cabiati. To the left, the Swiss Alps. A truly extraordinary one-of a-kind wedding location for those you value culture, art, history, food, and breathtaking views.

Before the ceremony, before the formality, before the carefully choreographed moments — there is this evening. A gathering defined not by tradition, but by connection. It’s the first time the entire cast of a couple’s life comes together in one place: family members who have known them since childhood, friends who’ve shaped their adulthood, and new relationships just beginning to take root. Many have crossed oceans and time zones to be there, arriving with open arms and full hearts.

The atmosphere is unmistakably different from the wedding day. Softer. Looser. Joy feels unguarded. Conversations linger, laughter rises easily, and the weight of expectation hasn’t yet arrived. People are relaxed — present in a way that feels rare and fleeting.

This is where I love to observe. To document the quiet exchanges and the exuberant reunions. The hand squeezes, the knowing looks, the spontaneous toasts. And almost imperceptibly, I’ll steal the couple away — unnoticed by guests — to capture them standing in the glow of it all. Together. Taking in the warmth, the welcome, the beautiful anticipation of what lies ahead.

To photograph a rehearsal dinner is to preserve something deeply intimate: the beginning of the celebration, before it becomes a spectacle. It’s the breath before the vow, the hush before the music, the story just as it starts to unfold.

There’s something bittersweet about stepping into my last year of my 30s—a quiet mix of gratitude and tenderness, for the women I’ve become along the way.
My 30s have been the best decade of my life—giving me the gift of clarity.
I learned myself in layers: as a mother, an artist, a business owner.
I’ve never felt more confident in my own skin— more certain of my voice, my boundaries, my worth.
As a mother, I’ve never understood more clearly my purpose in life—to love deeply and raise compassionate and confident human beings. As an artist, I learned to lean in to the moment as it unravels rather than chasing the perfect shot. As a wife, I’ve learned that love is measured not only in joy, but in how we stay and fight through the hardest moments. As a friend, I’ve learned to give more to the people who love me well, and less to those that don’t.
Most importantly, I learned to breathe. To stop constantly chasing what’s next, and to enjoy the moments I worked so hard to reach.

Here is to 39–grounded, grateful, and deeply present.
