I’m not going to Burning Man this year, and definitely feeling reallllly sad about it. So to make myself feel at least a little better, I’m reminiscing. Here are some photos from Micky and Manu’s playa wedding last year ❤️‍🔥✨

You know when it’s abundantly clear that two people are undoubtedly soulmates? And you’re just so happy that the universe brought them together in this lifetime? And they share that love with everyone around them? Yeah, that’s Micky and Manu. They came out to the desert with their best friends from New Zealand to celebrate. Their ceremony was so special, we all cried. A lot. Surrounded by art, abundant love, and more dust than you can imagine, they shared vows promising forever. Can’t wait to visit all of these wonderful Kiwis again in January for Kiwiburn!!

I always love photographing weddings at Burning Man, because they’re so intentional, so real, and so silly.

To everyone heading to the playa - have the most magical time! Please climb some art and dance a little extra for me. And visit my camp, Fruit and Veggie Camp at 3:00 & J for some organic goodness!! I’ll be seeing you in the dust next year ❤️‍🔥

Reminiscing on this perfect Colorado fall evening. Sean proposed to Kayleen at this beautiful lake in the mountains, and In true Colorado fashion, we experienced all of the seasons. I’ll never forget the way the light beams were streaming on them as the snow gently fell, while they celebrated choosing to love each other forever 💖

I’ve noticed a lot of bo***ir photos are super dark and overtly sexy. My style with Denver bo***ir photography is soft and flirty. My goal is to help you feel incredible in your skin, and to capture you however you feel most beautiful and confident. If that means wearing lace, cool! If that means wearing a tshirt and boxers, awesome!

HIGHLY recommend marrying your best friend. Lilly and Nate’s wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch in Colorado was unforgettable, from their union ceremony of eating mochi and dumplings, their van set up as a hangout space for guests, and the tear-inducing heartfelt words from friends and family throughout the day. They even decided to combine their last names to create a new last name, Otoshi, which happens to mean appetizer or snack in Japanese. A perfect last name if you ask me 🥟

You can tell how much love Lilly and Nate pour into their community, because all of that love was coming right back at them all day. The gorgeous details were the cherry on top of a truly unforgettable wedding. After 8 years of being a Colorado wedding photographer, I still can’t believe I get the honor of documenting such important moments for people! Thank you for your trust :’)

Happy anniversary, my love!!

Everyone who knows Evan knows how magical they are. I’ve had the privilege of falling in love with them over and over again this past year. It’s pretty hard to describe the feeling of being with someone who truly sees you, loves all of your being, and always matches your energy. So all I’ll say for now is thank you for loving me so well. Thanks for making every day feel special. Realllllly glad we found each other in this lifetime. If the first year was this good, I’m so excited for all the adventures to come. Can’t wait to build a home with you soon :’)

Kelsey and Hunter had one of those wedding days where everything just flowed so seamlessly. But not everything went according to plan. Kelsey’s original dress was ruined a few days before the wedding, so she had to pivot. During wedding party photos, it was windyyyyy. But these two truly had the best attitude all day. Because they chose to embrace their day, chaos and all, they had an incredible time. And I think that energy really shows in the photos. Oh and can’t forget to give Kelsey a HUGE shoutout for doing all of her own florals!!

Weddings in Leadville, Colorado are unforgettable. The towering mountains create the perfect ceremony backdrop, so you don’t even need much decor. I was absolutely obsessed with those rugs though ✨

So excited to get back into the swing of wedding season again soon! I still have some availability for wedding and elopement photography this fall. If you know anyone looking for a photographer who will help everyone embrace and remember the chaotic fun of their wedding day, send them my way!

Daisy and Mel are getting married!!!

These two love visiting botanic gardens together, so it was a no brainer for Daisy to surprise Mel with a proposal while they were visiting the Denver Botanic Gardens! The spring blooms showed up for them in a biiig way 🌸

It was such an honor to photograph a fellow wedding photographer’s elopement earlier this year in Telluride! I always feel lucky that my clients put so much trust in me to capture their wedding days, but getting to do it for someone who knows this career so intimately was incredibly special. Thank you, Natalie and Nico, for bringing me along, and trusting my alternate location recommendation when we realized crossing the raging river of snowmelt would be impossible 😅

All I’ve been dreaming about lately is warm summer days in the mountains. Can’t wait to head back to Telluride sometime next year ✨
