Reflecting on the past 4 months of my life spent in New Zealand and Nepal, the bittersweet feelings are overpowered by gratitude.
I set out with the intention of this being a solo trip. I needed time to explore, to think, to feel more independent. The funny thing is Iāve spent less than a week total on my own, but I wouldnāt change a thing.
People say itās hard to make friends as an adult, but Iām grateful to say that isnāt the case for me. Iāve connected with so many truly incredible people while traveling. People who have shown me so much generosity, care, and acceptance. Iāve been housed and fed, Iāve been held, Iāve been so beautifully loved on.
Thank you doesnāt quite cut it. I hope youāve all felt just as much love from me as I felt from you.
Iāve learned more about yoga, the world around me, the power of Mother Nature, and the types of connections that make my soul feel so alive that itās almost overwhelming. Iāve learned that I have a whole lot more to learn.
Special shoutout to for creating such an authentic experience and special environment for my 200 hour yoga teacher training āØ
Feeling sad to close this chapter, but so incredibly grateful for all of the experiences Iāve had. Excited to get back to Colorado - to hug friends, eat a good pizza, sleep in MY BED, and explore more of those beautiful and familiar mountains. See yāall soon š¤
P.S. you know thereās plenty more photos and thoughts coming, but this will do for now :)
