Brides are wanting something different for their wedding weekends lately , pieces that don’t just live for one day, but pieces they can wear beyond the wedding too.
I attend NYBFW mostly for publication work, but last season I had this idea in the back of my mind. What if I wore bridal designer pieces during NYBFW? Even wearing designer pieces during their showcases in a way that brides could actually envision themselves wearing beyond the runway.
So with the help of , we started pulling pieces from designers, moodboarding, dreaming a little, and figuring out how to bring the vision to life during NYBFW. And honestly, even though everything didn’t fully go to plan or look exactly how we imagined at first, it somehow all came together seamlessly in the end.
It reminded me that sometimes creativity is less about perfection and more about trusting the vision enough to make it happen anyway.
This recap is just the beginning! ☺️
