After photographing hundreds of weddings I’ve seen it all, but then I got asked to photograph a wedding at Meow Wolf and it was a totally new experience. And I LOVED IT 😍
It did come with mild anxiety before and during because you can’t use flash in the museum, lights in every color of the rainbow changing hues every second, you are dodging 100’s of people, at times I couldn’t even tell if I got the shot because it was so dark, I had to navigate this space with their family and friends in tow (no easy task), bumping up my ISO to 8000 made me freak (thank the lords for the denoise tool in Lightroom, without it these would be a grainy mess) and to top it off the fire alarm went off minutes before the ceremony and the entire museum had to evacuate 😅
All that said, I would do it allll over again. The space inspired me, my couple and their guests inspired me and I got to play with lighting that makes me happy. They wanted the funky colors in their photos and I love how they turned out 🤗
