Beebee and I met on Instagram years back while I was in Houston Texas visiting my friends. On that fateful day, I was so bored, and was going through my phone trying to mingle. So, I searched Nigerians in Denver Colorado and her profile popped up. I followed her and she followed back immediately. I liked a couple of her pictures and she did the same. That felt like a green light, so I slid into her DM. I asked for her number and she gave it to me. I called immediately and she was like "I just got back from work" and told me she would call after taking a nap. I completely forgot about our earlier conversation, but she kept her promise and viola! she called. We became friends, and like they say the rest is history.

On my birthday, Beebee planned on giving me a treat which we were supposed to have dinner at Texas De Brazil restaurant. She got a friend who freelances taking pictures to come take pictures of us while she was thinking it was a dinner for two people. However, we got to the restaurant and I convinced Beebee that it would be a nice gesture for her friend to stay with us during the dinner so we can have lots of pictures. I made her walk into the restaurant alone to make a reservation for her friend.While she made another reservation, I took that time to give her friend heads up on what was about to happen. We started taking pictures without leaving any clue about what would happen. After dinner, we were having general conversations and we were about to order desert when I got on one knee and asked her to marry me. She was shocked,surprised and overwhelmed because she was caught unawares. Still very surprised she said YES!
